To be the most reliable solar energy provider in the region of western Uganda focusing on customer care, quality, and efficiency.

Mission
To improve the availability of renewable affordable electricity in rural areas in a commercial and sustainable manner for the people in Western Uganda who do not have access to grid electricity.

We are an accredited solar electricity provider by the Rural Electricity Agency (REA) of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development under the Energy for Rural Transformation (ERT) II Project.

Our business model – fee for a service

FRES Uganda provides sustainable and affordable solar electricity on a Fee- for -Service business model. FRES provides the infrastructure (Panels, Batteries and accessories) and the customer pays a monthly fee for the services rendered.
FRES installs, takes care of maintenance and replacement of the worn out parts of the system thereby ensuring a sustainable long term electricity solution for the customer.

Affordable: No initial capital investment required from the customer.
Life time warranty: The customer enjoy free maintenance services and replacement costs arising from normal wear and tear
Flexibility: The customer can upgrade from one service level to another at any time of the contract period.
Reliable services: FRES’ core business is service delivery which is manned by competent and dedicated team.
Effortlessness of use: customers do not have to install the system themselves

With over 4,800 customers both small scale businesses, Households and institutions like schools, hospitals SACCOs and churchesFRES operations in Uganda cover the districts of Mbarara, Isingiro, Sheema, Mitooma, Buhweju, Rubirizi, Bushenyi, Ntungamo, Ibanda,Kiruhura, KamwengeSembabule, Kyegegwa.
